Hi! I'm Nicole aka Nima

"Another girl, another lifestyle blog," these are my initial thoughts; but you know what? I'm going to do this anyway.

I scroll through social media and see all these perfect pictures, of perfect people, living their perfect lives.

It's so easy to get wrapped up in it; we start comparing ourselves or competing with an unrealistic expectation. I'm not going to lie, I've been there a few times; but I'm tired of trying so hard to get the perfect picture and write the perfect caption.

I'm here to be imperfect and to talk about my imperfections.

I'm here to talk about my anxiety, my insecurities and my struggles; because in those dark moments, I want you, my friend, to know that you are not alone.

As a woman in my thirties, I live a great life; but I fought damn hard to get here, in a healthy(er) mental and spiritual space.

I share how I've broken unhealthy cycles in my family. In doing so, I want you to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, so long as you keep fighting to find it and BE it.

My hope with this blog is to stimulate conversations with other women and inspire them to open up and talk about the imperfect thoughts and moments we all experience in this messy and complicated, yet beautiful life.

I feel strong when I share my vulnerabilities with others.

I hope my vulnerability inspires you to find strength in yours, too.

Besides, what is perfect, anyway? I'm perfectly imperfect and I'm not afraid to talk about it. Care to join me?

What is Nima Inspired, anyway?

It all started in Brooklyn, NY, at a hair salon. My real name is Nicole Marie but the salon owner and I shared the same exact name. To avoid confusion, I created and adopted the nick name, Nima. It is the first two letters of my first and middle name put together. Clever, right? Thanks! Now, wherever I go, I work as a hair stylist under this alias.

I'm a creator at heart. I love making things and being crafty.  I decided to channel this energy into my Etsy shop. It is a space where I make apparel that celebrates life and all the joyous occasions.

Go to menu and click "Etsy Shop" if you're interested to see!

Custom orders are always welcomed.

Have any questions? Or is there something you want to share? I'd love to hear from you! xo
